Retaining Capabilities
for the Proto II™ Fence Wall

The Proto II™ fence's inherent ability to retain is one of the strongest examples of its superiority over conventional walls of the same width and height. It's simple, when it comes to built-in retainingRetaining Profile capability for a site wall engineered to be a site wall, Proto II™ fence can, conventional can't.

Proto II™ fences can retain a level grade measured, not just from the top of footing, but from low soil to high soil.

4" wide retains 1' 4"
6" wide retains 2' 0"
8" wide retains 2' 8"

And this is without any change in the basic design except for slurry grouting rod cells to grade level for a little extra protection. You can see how incredibly economical and convenient this becomes: no specially engineered walls for just those areas with minor retaining requirements.

Now all of the above is based on the standard Proto II™ fence design. When you need greater retaining capacity, simply specify Proto II™ Retaining Walls, where post tension design is applied to masonry retaining walls up to 11'4" in height.
